Wilma G. Caplan
Co-Managing Partner, Cronin & Caplan Realty Group, Inc.

Throughout her real estate career, Wilma has been a leader and strong supporter of the needs of the community. She served as President of the Portland Board of Realtors in 1992 and Chairperson of the State Professional Standards Committee in 1995. She has been actively involved in the Boys and Girls Club, Parry Center, and Oregon Business Committee for the Arts Board. She is a trustee of the Emanuel Hospital Foundation , and serves on Legacy’s Board. Wilma and her husband, Jerome Caplan, have two sons, one daughter, one granddaughter and one grandson.


Matthew W. Prophet
Past Superintendent of Portland Public Schools

Matthew holds a post-doctoral certificate from the U.S. Office of Education and a doctorate in education supervision and administration from Northwestern University. He served as superintendent of Portland Public Schools from 1982 to 1992, where he was instrumental in reducing the dropout rate and increasing student achievement. Currently a partner with Bickert, Prophet & Associates, Ltd., an executive search and education consulting firm, he also serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Oregon “I Have A Dream” Foundation and the corporate boards of US Bank and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Oregon.


Ralph R. Shaw
General Partner, Shaw Venture Partners

Ralph is a graduate of Hofstra University, earning a degree in Public Accounting, and New York University’s School of Law, where he received a Juris Doctor degree. He has been a leading venture capitalist in the Western U.S. since he formed his first venture fund with US Bancorp in 1982. He has served on the Professional Conduct Committee of the Financial Analysts Federation, as trustee of the Portland Youth Harmonic, OMSI, the Oregon Episcopal School, the Portland Center for the Visual Arts, Self Enhancement, Inc., the Rob Strasser Foundation, and many others.
